Mickey apprenticed under Walter Yen Sid, an older, wise but somewhat eccentric wizard master of illusion. She found working in the vaults to be to her liking and started to include Evocation studies with her Illusion studies. She worked as Yen Sid's archivist/librarian.
she was asked to leave Yen Sid's beautiful expensive castle and grounds in the West after an unfortunate incident involving a well; about which she will say nothing more.
She wears the red robes of all of Yen Sid disciples in a blue silk head scarf with gold trim
She met Jason while traveling east across the Stoney mountains. Her time studying in Walters libraries prepared her well for life with dragons, talking rodents, and other speaking creatures.
